How we source and review our library
Every compound and protocol in Peplo's library follows the same process. This page documents it so you can see where the numbers come from.

Sourcing
Where our facts come from.
Every peptide and protocol entry in Peplo's library is required to carry at least one citation — a PubMed-indexed study, a DOI-referenced paper, or a peer-reviewed journal article. Our catalog schema enforces this: an entry cannot ship without a title, authors, publication year, and a source link.
When evidence is preliminary, animal-model only, or drawn from a single small trial, we say so directly rather than presenting it as settled. We do not cite forum threads, vendor marketing copy, or anonymous protocols as authoritative sources. When a compound is sold as a research chemical and lacks FDA approval for the use described, the entry says so plainly — see our Liability Disclaimer.
Drafting & review
How an entry gets written.
Peplo uses AI-assisted tooling to draft initial summaries and pull candidate citations from primary literature, then runs each draft through structured schema validation before it can be merged into the library. Every entry is reviewed by our team against the underlying source before it ships.
We do not currently maintain a board of licensed clinical reviewers, and we do not claim clinician sign-off on any entry. Peplo is an educational and tracking tool, not a medical publication — content reflects the cited literature, not a clinical recommendation for you personally. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting, changing, or stopping any protocol.
Updates & corrections
When and how we change something.
We revisit library content on three triggers:
- New evidence. A peer-reviewed study changes a dose range, half-life estimate, or application for a compound.
- Regulatory change. An FDA approval, shortage-list change, or new labeling.
- Reader feedback. Someone flags an inaccuracy.
If you believe an entry is wrong, email support@peplo.health with the page and the specific claim in question. We review corrections as they come in and fix substantive errors as soon as we can verify them against a primary source.

What we don't do.
Peplo does not manufacture, sell, prescribe, or distribute any peptide, pharmaceutical, or related product, and has no commercial interest in what you choose to run. Peplo is a calculation and tracking tool: it helps you reconstitute accurately, log doses, and understand the research behind a compound. It is not medical advice, and nothing in the library prescribes a dose for you individually.
